Omaha Symphonic Winds to Hold Auditions

Omaha Symphonic Winds, a concert band for talented adult musicians, based in Nebraska, will hold new member auditions on Saturday July 14, 2012. Auditions will be heard on all band instruments, as well as string bass and harp. Successful candidates will earn spots as regular ensemble members or substitute musicians. Several sections have openings.

Omaha Symphonic Winds, is currently planning its fourth season with concerts set for Sunday, October 21, 2012 at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, and Sundays, March 10 and May 5, 2013, in the Elkhorn High School Auditorium. Omaha Symphonic Winds members come from the ranks of school band directors and music teachers, private music instructors, retired military musicians, and area professionals.
